FULL COMPREHENSIVE TEACHER TRAINING AUTUMN 2025 | ATHENS, GREECE

Saturday 26 October 2025 – Sunday 01 March 2026

This 3-month training programme is designed to guide you step by step to the Full Comprehensive course including Mat and Magic Circle, Reformer, Tower-Cadillac, Wunda Chair, and Ladder-Barrel.

Total Duration: 450 hours (3 months)

Timing: Saturdays 13:00 – 20:00 and Sundays 10:00 – 17:00

  • In-person/Online Training: 150 hours
  • Individual Practice: 150 hours

       All students should complete 150 hours of individual practice in a certified Pilates studio.

       Requirements:

  • All students must complete their practice in a certified and licensed Pilates studio.
  • Completion of the studios’ registration form is mandatory.
  • The studio manager of the visited facility must sign the form.
  • Optional Venue: Pilates by Michael Studio. Available Times: Monday – Friday 15:00 – 18:00
  • Guided Student Practice: 80 hours

     

       Benefits: Students receive constructive feedback from specialised instructors at our school.

  • Student Teaching: 50 hours

     

       Details:

  • Students teach volunteers of their selection.
  • Volunteers must be healthy with no injuries in the past 6 months.
  • It is essential for trainees to maintain a profile record of their students.
  • Lessons should be tailored to meet the specific needs of the student.
  • Anatomy: 14 hours

     

    In-person sessions are conducted by a certified lecturer with a degree in physiotherapy and further training in Pilates.
  • Practical and Theory Exams: 6 hours

Weekend 1 (25-26/10)

Pilates Anatomy

  • Focus on musculoskeletal structure, biomechanics, and movement analysis.
  • Foundation for cueing, tactile feedback, and 
  • exercise adaptations.

Weekend 2 (01-02/11)

Pilates Mat I – Beginner

  • Introduction to the classical Mat repertoire.
  • Emphasis on breathing, core activation, alignment, and precision.

Weekend 3 (15-16/11)

Pilates Mat II – Intermediate

  • Progressive Mat exercises and classical transitions.
  • Enhancing movement control and class flow.

Weekend 4 (22-23/11)

Pilates Mat III – Authentic Sequence / Return to Life

  • Full classical Mat sequence in the original order.
  • Emphasis on rhythm, tempo, transitions, and integration.

Weekend 5 (29-30/11)

Pilates Reformer I – Beginner

  • Introduction to Reformer setup and safety.
  • Basic classical Reformer repertoire and spring knowledge.

Weekend 6 (06-07/12)

Pilates Reformer II – Intermediate

  • Intermediate exercises, transitions, and sequencing.
  • Focus on cueing, movement quality, and flow.

Weekend 7 (13-14/12)

Pilates Reformer III – Advanced

  • Advanced-level Reformer with full sequences and classical order.
  • Coordination, power, and precision in dynamic execution.

Weekend 8 (20-21/12)

Pilates Tower/Cadillac I 

  • Focus on Roll Down Bar and Push Through Bar series.
  • Spinal articulation, upper/lower body integration, and spring control.

Weekend 9 (10-11/01)

Pilates Tower/Cadillac II 

  • Cadillac Frame and Hanging series.
  • Advanced spinal and inversion work, using the full frame.

Weekend 10 (17-18/01)

Pilates Wunda Chair

  • Full classical Chair repertoire.
  • Vertical and functional strength patterns with spring resistance.

Weekend 11 (24-25/01)

Pilates Ladder Barrel

  • Classical Ladder Barrel work.
  • Spinal extension, side work, and global mobility.

Weekend 12 (28/02-01/03)

FINAL EXAMS





Final Exams: The Theoretical exam will be held on Saturday (28/02) from 9:00 to 20:00 via the Pilates Loom online platform. The Practical exam will be held on Sunday (01/03).

Theoretical Exam

Each module includes its own online theory exam, accessible via www.pilatesloom.com.

Structure per module:

  • Pilates Anatomy – 50 multiple-choice questions
  • Pilates Mat – 50 multiple-choice questions
  • Pilates Reformer – 50 multiple-choice questions
  • Pilates Tower-Cadillac – 50 multiple-choice questions
  • Pilates Wunda Chair – 25 multiple-choice questions
  • Pilates Ladder Barrel – 25 multiple-choice questions

General Guidelines:

  • Duration: 1 minute per question (e.g. 50 questions = 50 minutes)
  • Attempts: 2 attempts allowed per module
  • If the first attempt is failed, the second attempt can be taken after 2 weeks
  • If both attempts are failed, a third attempt is available only after completion of the next teacher training cycle, with a €80 resit fee

Practical Exam

The practical exam is conducted through real-time teaching, not a pre-recorded video.

Requirements:

  • Duration: 20 minutes
  • You will be assigned a specific client case prior to the exam.
  • You must teach a full mini-session based on this case, including:
  • Brief case introduction
  • Warm-up or preparatory movements
  • Main exercise program (including apparatus if applicable)
  • Verbal cueing, tactile feedback, and interaction
  • Clear ending or cool-down phase

  • Flow and structure
  • Correct execution and modifications
  • Clarity of cueing (verbal & tactile)
  • Observation and client response
  • Professional presence

Registration Fees

The in-person training costs 3800 €, including VAT.

The online training costs 2300 €, including VAT.

The reservation of the position is after the advance deposit of 30% of the total value.

By creating your account, you can buy your preferred module. You will also find the final exam of each one of them. Each exam can be taken at any time you like.

 

The training cannot be held part-time but can be completed in modules.

The Anatomy course is included in all the following modules.
