We are excited to announce our Intensive Full Comprehensive Teacher Training programme in Bulgaria. Over two months you will explore all the exercises on all the apparatus and learn how to incorporate them.

Requirements: All students should be healthy individuals. We expect a high level of practice before and during the training programme.

Pilates Mat (Basic Level)

Introduction to the foundational principles of Classical Pilates Matwork

•Core alignment concepts

•Breathing coordination

•Beginner-level classical exercises

•How to cue effectively and teach a group safely

Friday (26/09)

Pilates Mat (Intermediate–Advanced Level)

Building on the foundation with dynamic sequences and flow

•Intermediate to advanced repertoire

•Transitions and flow of movement

•Teaching techniques for stronger students

•Modifications for common limitations

Saturday (27/09)

Pilates Reformer (Basic Level)

Introduction to the Reformer apparatus and beginner sequences

•Equipment setup and safety

•Footwork, coordination, and core control

•Beginner classical Reformer exercises

•Teaching tactile and verbal cueing on the apparatus

Sunday (28/09)

Pilates Reformer (Intermediate Level)

Deeper into the Classical Reformer system with progression in mind

•Intermediate reformer series

•Challenge, precision & rhythm

•Spotting and hands-on corrections

•Building balanced group classes

  

OCTOBER

 

Thursday (16/10)

Pilates Tower: Roll Back Bar, Arm & Leg Springs

•Exploring resistance training through spring feedback.

•Roll Back Bar mechanics and spinal articulation

•Arm and leg spring series: standing, supine & side-lying

•Working with posture types and asymmetries

•How to build sequences for strength & length

Friday (17/10)

Pilates Tower: Push Through Bar

Working with one of the most versatile Tower components

•Push Through Bar in multiple positions (supine, seated, kneeling)

•Core control, spinal mobility, and shoulder stabilization

•Safety protocols and spotting techniques

•Combining Tower exercises into sessions

Saturday (18/10)

Pilates Wunda Chair

Compact yet powerful apparatus to challenge strength and control

•Basic to intermediate Chair exercises

•Precision in setup and alignment

•Functional strength and core activation

•Progressions for different populations

Sunday (19/10)

Pilates Ladder Barrel

Focus on mobility, stretch, and spinal articulation

•Spinal extension, lateral flexion, and rotation

•Using the barrel to teach body awareness

•Advanced movement mechanics

•Programming flow into full-body sessions

  

Final exams: The final exams will be held on May 3rd, 2025, from 9:00 to 20:00. The deadline for the practical exam, which will be presented on a video, should be sent no later than 21:00 on May 4th.

Theory & Practical Examination Instructions

Theory Exam

  • Platform: The theory exam is conducted online via our official website: www.pilatesloom.com

Format:

  • 60 multiple-choice questions
  • Duration: 60 minutes
  • Topics Breakdown:
  • 15 questions – Pilates Mat
  • 15 questions – Pilates Reformer
  • 10 questions – Pilates Tower
  • 10 questions – Wunda Chair
  • 10 questions – Ladder Barrel
  • Attempts:
  • Each participant has 2 attempts to pass the exam.
  • If the first attempt fails, the second attempt can be taken after 2 weeks.
  • If the second attempt is also failed, the third attempt is available only after the completion of the next teacher training cycle, and requires an €80 exam fee.

Practical Exam

Format:

  • Submit a 20-minute video
  • The video must demonstrate a session tailored to a specific client case, which will be assigned to you in advance.

Requirements:

The session should include:

  • Client case presentation
  • Program explanation
  • Application and execution of exercises
  • Interaction, cueing, and feedback
  • Summary and professional evaluation

Submission:

The video must be uploaded via WeTransfer or a similar platform
