Vasiliki Iliakopoulou

Physiotherapist – Clinical Pilates Educator – Biomedical Acupuncture – Professional Dancer
 
She graduated with honors from the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of Patras, specializing in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal, neurological, chronic, and cardiorespiratory conditions, applying modern, evidence-based methods of kinesiotherapy and therapeutic exercise.
 
Certified in Therapeutic Exercise through Clinical Pilates by the Center for Training and Lifelong Learning of the University of West Attica, she also serves as a member of the teaching staff, instructing undergraduate and postgraduate students.
 
She holds a specialization in Biomedical and Traditional Acupuncture, with:
•Certification from the University of West Attica,
•Practical training in China (Summer 2024) at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, applying TCM acupuncture in leading hospitals of Shanghai.
 
She has attended specialized programs at the Anatomy Department of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, focusing on detailed study and in-depth understanding of functional anatomy.
 
She also participated in the “Sports & Exercise Medicine” conference (NKUA – University of West Attica – Queen Mary University of London), with hands-on training in ultrasound assessment, cadaveric anatomy, and taping for sports injuries.
 
In the artistic field, she holds Advanced 1 Diplomas in Classical Ballet (RAD) and Modern Dance (ISTD), and is a DDE Candidate. She specializes in technical conditioning and functional support for dancers and athletes, combining scientific knowledge with kinesthetic and artistic awareness.
